This phone is sold out worldwide and Apple only provides official unlocking in a very small number of countries (such as Australia).
We are a serious iPhone seller and we maintain sufficient stock levels of all iPhone models and colours everyday, and in the very unlikely event that they're not in stock at the time of your purchase, we will get them again in a few days.

To prevent non-paying bidders, immediate payment is required with PayPal - if you don't wish to pay with PayPal, please contact us and we will arrange another payment method.
We only ship to the shipping address specified during the PayPal payment (but usually you can change it during payment and it can be different from your eBay address).
Pickup is available from Chatswood, Sydney (Australia), however due to PayPal Seller Protection Policy which requires a shipment tracking number, PayPal is not available for pickup (you can pay with cash or bank transfer).

Officially Unlocked by Apple (the IMEI number has been registered as being "unlocked" in the Apple database), this means you can enjoy all firmware updates in the future.
Note that if your phone is not unlocked officially (in other words it was unlocked with a software hack or a Turbo SIM), your phone will be locked again if you update your firmware and it may not be possible to re-unlock it - so do not risk buying these phones.
It is already unlocked today - be careful because many other eBay sellers claim their iPhones to be "unlockable with a software which will be released soon" but to tell you the truth the software hack won't be available for a while to come (most likely several months) so your phone is pretty much useless (for your information the iPhone purchased from AT&T in USA cannot be officially unlocked - our stock comes from Australia and Apple allows official unlocking here).
Some other sellers sell the iPhone3G  with a Turbo SIM or its variant (such as i-Smart SIM, Universal SIM, Yes SIM, Gevey SIM, X SIM, and many others), however it doesn't work very well. For a start, it only works with a few carriers so it's a hit and miss unless you already know that your carrier works with it. Many of the Turbo SIM's only work for a couple of hours before they need to be replaced, and for those which last a long time, almost certainly you will still have occasional loss of signal. In addition, the 3G transfer speed will be much slower than if you do not use a Turbo SIM and your battery will run out faster. It's barely worth spending the money for your expensive iPhone if you can't use it to its full potential. Also be careful because there are Turbo SIM's which are soldered inside the phone so you cannot see it, if it's too cheap then it almost certainly has Turbo SIM.

Once again, you can upgrade it to the Latest Firmware (2.1 currently) because it's been officially unlocked. It does not suffer from problems with a Turbo SIM.

Brand New & Never Used, No Contract
This phone is brand new and has never been used. For your peace of mind, all our phones are tested prior to dispatch, to make sure they turn on and work. We have had 1 or 2 phones which did not even turn on, out of the hundreds we have sold. Although the chance is small, we want to make sure you experience a hassle-free purchase, especially if you are located overseas and it would be a hassle to return it. Note that we only open the box and turn on the phone for a minute. All the plastic seals (such as the screen cover and the plastics covering the accessories) are still intact and have not been removed. It will still look 100% brand new.

Australian Stock with 12-Months Warranty from Apple Australia
The official warranty terms state that the warranty for iPhone 3G has to be processed by Apple in the country of purchase, so you may need to ship it back to Australia, however you can check with your local Apple store to see if they are willing to handle the warranty for you. In a lot of cases if your country does not sell officially unlocked iPhones, they would insist that the phone be returned to Apple Australia.
Some eBay sellers state that the iPhone comes with international warranty - this is not true and it's not what's stated on the official warranty terms.
In any case, you will still have warranty, it's just that you may need to pay the shipping costs to send it to Apple Australia.
To determine if your phone is under warranty, Apple will simply check the serial number, you don't need to give them any proof of purchase - you can also check your warranty expiry date on https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do.

Express Courier International (ECI) is an EMS, similar to the USPS Express service in the USA. It provides online tracking and requires signature on delivery. It is handled by a network of different companies worldwide, and in most cases this is the national postal company (although in some countries it is handled by DHL or FedEx). If you have a PO Box, please go to http://www1.auspost.com.au/international/ to make sure that PO Box delivery is available for your country (some of the countries which offer PO Box delivery are USA, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates). Note also that there are a very small number of countries where the ECI parcel delivery service is not available at all (for example Maldives and French Polynesia) and if you live in these countries you need to pay extra for FedEx.
Once it has been shipped, we will email the tracking number to your PayPal email address (which may be different from your eBay email, so please check your PayPal email), along with the website to track it.
ECI (EMS) is very safe and is the most expensive service offered by Australia Post. However because insurance is optional and by default your package is declared with only $200 value, we are not responsible for any lost mails in the unlikely event that it happens, unless you opt for insurance at the time of purchase. For extra $30, we can insure it for the full value, but note that this means we will need to declare the full value as well so you will need to pay tax and your package will also take longer to arrive because it has to clear Customs.
FedEx Priority shipping is also available for $100 extra to ANY country worldwide and we can declare it with a low value. Please choose "Other" as the postage option (the one which costs $100 more than the default shipping option). Note that FedEx only delivers to a street address (not PO Box).
